Health literacy for all, not just the privileged
Millions of women around the world grow up without basic knowledge about their own bodies. When women lack access to health education, their physical and emotional well-being suffers in ways that ripple across families and communities. The VitaSolace Reach Project exists to change that — one free subscription at a time.
Why this matters
UNICEF's 2023 Review of Menstrual Health and Hygiene in the East Asia and Pacific Region makes a clear case: access to accurate health education is just as critical to improving women's lives as access to period products or quality healthcare. Yet in many parts of the world, that education never arrives.
Women who do not understand their menstrual cycle are less likely to seek care when something is wrong, less equipped to make informed reproductive choices, and more vulnerable to stigma and misinformation. The gap is not about intelligence — it is about opportunity.
What Reach does
In countries where health education remains limited, the Reach Project provides women with a free VitaSolace Premium subscription — giving them full access to safe, medically grounded health information from their first period to their last, including when they are trying to conceive, pregnant, or perimenopausal.
Reach currently covers women in the following list, with plans to expand to additional communities identified through UNICEF and regional health data.

Women who have started using a free VitaSolace Premium subscription through the Reach Project report a stronger understanding of their periods and menstrual health than they had before. With continued support, we can keep passing on health literacy to even more women who need it.
How you can help
Every VitaSolace Premium subscription directly funds the Reach Project. When you subscribe, you are not only investing in your own health you are helping extend the same access to a woman who would otherwise go without.
